Mail-In Check Payment Terms & Conditions

By choosing to pay via check, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

  1. Acceptance of Payment:
    All checks must be made payable to Invisible Empire Publishing LLC and mailed to the address provided at checkout. Orders will not ship until the check has cleared our financial institution.
  2. Processing Time:
    Please allow up to 10 business days for your check to clear. If your check is returned unpaid for any reason, your order will be automatically canceled until payment issues are resolved.
  3. Returned / Bounced Checks:
    If a check is returned due to insufficient funds, a closed account, stop payment, or any other reason, the customer is responsible for:

    • The full amount of the original payment;
    • Any bank fees incurred by Invisible Empire Publishing LLC (including returned item fees and overdraft penalties); and
    • A $35 returned check fee (or the maximum allowed by law, whichever is greater).
  4. Grace Period & Resolution:
    We understand that errors can happen. Customers will be contacted and given a reasonable opportunity to make good on any returned or failed payment. You may resolve the issue by providing replacement payment via certified funds (cashier’s check, money order, or cryptocurrency) within 7 calendar days of notification. Communication and cooperation are always encouraged to avoid additional action.
  5. Intentional Fraud or Refusal to Remedy:
    If it becomes clear that a check was intentionally written on insufficient funds, a closed account, or with fraudulent intent, or if the customer refuses to correct the issue, Invisible Empire Publishing LLC reserves the right to:

    • Send a formal demand letter seeking payment for the check amount plus applicable fees;
    • Pursue recovery through small claims court or a collection agency; and/or
    • Report the incident to the appropriate law enforcement authorities for investigation and prosecution.

    We are a legally operating business and will not be victims of bad actors.

  6. Recordkeeping:
    All documentation related to payment—including the original check, correspondence, and bank notices—will be retained and may be used as evidence in any collection or legal proceedings.

By submitting payment by check, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these terms.
